Select a value for a Custom property from a dropdown menu

From now on, you can create Custom properties where you can select one or more values from a dropdown menu. You can configure this dropdown menu yourself via Configuration.

Creating a dropdown menu

To create a dropdown menu, go to Configuration > Custom properties and create a new property. In the column “Data Type”, select “Dropdown menu” and click “Save”.

  1. In the Data Type column, the "Options" button will now appear. Click here to continue.

  2. In the right-hand panel, you can now create your first option.

  3. Click "Add" to add additional options.

Once your dropdown menu is ready, you can click "Save options" at the bottom to save it.

Selecting a value for a Custom property

If you have created a Custom property with a Dropdown menu, you can now apply it to the entity for which the Custom property was created. Suppose you have a new Custom property for Locations where you can select the type of dwelling from the dropdown menu. You can now navigate to a location and open it.

On the detail page, scroll down and click “Add” in the Custom properties section.

After adding a property with a Dropdown menu, you can select one or more options from the menu.

You can also choose to add a date and select one or more values.

Create a tag from a Custom property to display it in the header

Would you like to highlight certain Custom properties more prominently? From now on, you can indicate in the Configuration of the Custom properties to “Display in header”. Once this is selected, this property will appear as a tag in the header.

You can also specify a particular color for this tag.

Once you save this setting, wherever this Custom property is filled in, it will appear as a tag in the header.

Clickable tags for Location Groups

Is a location part of a specific Location Group? You will now see that Location Group displayed as a clickable tag in the header. Click the tag to navigate directly to the Location Group.
