🚀 Bulk edit custom entity properties
End of the year? That often comes with indexations, or a check whether all values are still correct.
To adjust or upload new values of your custom properties faster in bulk, you can now import an Excel file via the Import Jobs.
Zero Friction reads the values and adds or adjusts them where needed.
For example, you can:
add a new value for a property without an existing value
update an existing value for a property
enter a new value for a different period for a property with an existing value and specific period
The custom property must already exist in the configuration. So you cannot create new custom properties via the import function. You also cannot delete properties this way.
👉 Ready to get started?
Go to Jobs > Import jobs > Upload and download the sample file there.
In this example, you'll see how to best format your properties to read them correctly into Zero Friction.
🌈 Technical
The import jobs recognize the property by the Name and the Entity type.
This is important when you use the same name for different entity types.
To fill in the value for a specific customer, location, meter or contract, enter the unique entity reference, for example:
customer number
external ID
contract number
serial number
🚀 Delete unused customers
From now on, you can delete customers that are not being used and have no history from Zero Friction.
Go to the customer and click on More > Delete customer to delete the customer.
