š Accelerated import of measurement readings
š Improved validation
š Separate overview of the import
Accurate consumption measurements are the foundation of the meter-to-cash process. That's why we've implemented several key improvements to help you import data more quickly and identify any issues quickly and easily.
Accelerated import of measurement readings
Thanks to the improved meter import, meter readings will now be imported twice as fast.
Improved validation
After importing or uploading the meter readings, the file containing the measurement data goes through a number of validation checks.
So you now have a number of new statuses that let you know exactly where in the process something might go wrong.
Uploadingā¦: Zero Friction is currently loading the file.
Upload failed: You will receive this message when the measurement data file is in an unreadable format for Zero Friction.
Invalid format: If the file is fine, but there are unreadable errors, such as unreadable date formats, the file will be marked "Invalid format." If there is no problem, Zero Friction moves on to the next step.
Validatingā¦: Zero Friction is now validating the measurement data from the file.
Validation failed: You receive this status when, for example, a meter is unavailable or a channel is inaccessible. This doesn't mean all readings are incorrect. From here, you can re-upload the file or choose to process it.
Processing: When automatic processing is disabled, you'll see the "Processing" status. This indicates that you can now begin processing the readings.
Processingā¦: Zero Friction is currently processing all data, for example an invalid meter.
Processed with issues: The data has been processed, but Zero Friction has discovered several issues. You can ignore these issues by selecting "Mark as processed."
Processed: Zero Friction processed the file without any problems.
Separate overview of the import
To keep track of all this, we've created a new overview. From now on, you can find the import of measurement files in the dedicated "Import" tab within the Meters entity.
This overview now includes a convenient search function, filters, and views of the various statuses. Issues are displayed transparently in the Issues tab.
