Contractor move-out

Updated over a year ago

Move-out via contract termination

In Zero Friction, ending the contract for a customer is called a move-out. An end-note will be generated during this process. It is possible to configure that an e-mail is send directly to the customer when the move-out has been completed. The end-note itself is not directly send as it first has to be approved.

The e-mail template for contract termination is fully textually customizable.

Move-out via tasks

Another way to terminate a contract is by use of the online customer portal, provided that it has been set up in Zero Friction for your organisation. Using the customer portal, a customer can end his own contract using a web browser.

When a portal move-out request is created, it will appear in the tasks window in Zero Friction. The user has to do the final check and approve the move-out. The customer will receive a confirmation e-mail and Zero Friction will generate the final end-note. This end-note will then be ready for approval.

Move-out via move-in

A third way of ending a contract is by of moving-in a new customer on an already serviced location. By directly moving in the new customer, the contract on that location will be ended as well.

A confirmation e-mail can be automatically sent to the old customer, informing him of the ending of his contract. Zero Friction will create the end-note and will put it in the ready for approval state.

For the new contract, a confirmation mail can be automatically send out to the new customer and, if stipulated in the contract, a first advance will be created.
