Social tariff: Marking contracts and customers for social tariff

If you have customers benefiting from the social tariff, you need to submit several reports to the CREG annually. Before exporting these reports, you must:

This article explains how to mark contracts for a social tariff.

SOCTAR

For each contract where the social tariff applies, you must add the modified entity property SOCTAR.

Setting up SOCTAR (per contract)

  1. Go to the Contract Details page.

  2. Add the SOCTAR property.

  3. Optionally, enter a start and end date.

  4. Select "Yes" and click "Save".

GOVERNMENT_SHARING_FORBIDDEN

If your customer benefits from the social tariff but does not want to disclose it to the government, you must indicate at the customer level that their information should not be included in the customer portfolio export.

Setting up GOVERNMENT_SHARING_FORBIDDEN (per customer)

  1. Go to the Customer Details page.

  2. Add the GOVERNMENT_SHARING_FORBIDDEN property.

  3. Optionally, enter a start and end date.

  4. Select "Yes" and click "Save".

For customers who do want to disclose their social tariff status to the government (GOVERNMENT_SHARING_FORBIDDEN set to "No"), you must also add their national register number.

  1. Go to the Customer Details page.

  2. Enter the country of residence.

  3. Enter the national register number.

  4. Click "Save".

BIM/BVT

If your customers benefit from increased compensation ("Bénéficiaires Intervention Majorée / Begunstigden Verhoogde Tegemoetkoming"), you must indicate this at the customer level.

Setting up BIM/BVT (per customer, if applicable)

  1. Go to the Customer Details page.

  2. Add the BIM/BVT property.

  3. Select "Yes" and click "Save".
