Quick Search is a search bar that lives on top of the screen. It enables you to instantly navigate to any customer, contract, location, invoice, or meter across the active organization without leaving the current page.

Quick Search is a search bar that lives on top of the screen. It enables you to instantly navigate to any customer, contract, location, invoice, or meter across the active organization without leaving the current page.


What does Quick Search show?

Quick Search shows:

  • Up to 5 matching Customers – account number and short display name

  • Up to 5 matching Contracts – contract number, contractor name, utility type icons, and contract status badge

  • Up to 5 matching Locations (Service Locations) – display address and utility type icons

  • Up to 5 matching Invoices – invoice number, invoice type, and invoice status badge

  • Up to 5 matching Meters – serial number, meter model (brand + name), and current meter status badge

Results are grouped in a fixed section order: Locations → Contracts → Invoices → Meters → Customers.

⚠️ Note: Quick Search only returns results for entity types the current user has permission to access. Tabs for entity types the user cannot read are hidden entirely from the results dropdown.


List of all items you can search on

Customers

  • Account number

  • Salutation, initials, first name, last name

  • Birth date

  • Company name

  • Customer type name

  • Organization number (e.g. VAT/SIRET)

  • Default payment method name

  • Invoice address (street, house number, postal code, city, country, locality, building name)

  • All contact detail values (email addresses, phone numbers, etc.)

  • All bank account IBANs


Contracts

  • Contract number

  • External contract reference

  • Contractor account number and short display name

  • Contractual advance amount

  • Billing/invoice address

  • Current contract status name

  • All linked service location addresses

  • External service identifiers (EAN/EAN codes) for all services on those locations


Locations (Service Locations)

  • Full address (street, house number, postal code, city, country, locality, building name)

  • Utility type name per service

  • External service identifier (EAN code) per service

  • External ID of the location


Invoices

  • Customer account number

  • Customer display name

  • Payment reference

  • Invoice type name

  • Invoice number

  • Contract number


Meters

  • Serial number

  • Parent meter serial number (for sub-meters)

  • Channel external identifiers (EAN codes per channel)

  • Installed-at address for all status history records where the meter is/was installed



Does Quick Search search across all organizations in the tenant or only the active one? It searches only within the currently selected organization.

Why do I see fewer than 5 results in a category even though more matching records exist? Quick Search returns up to 5 results per entity type by design. Refine your search to get more accurate results.

Can I search using multiple words? Yes - entering multiple words separated by spaces performs an AND search: all words must appear in the record's canonical search fields.

Why are some tabs hidden in the results dropdown? Tabs are only shown for entity types your user role permits you to read, and only when at least 1 result exists for that type in the current search.
