Configuration – General – Preferences is used to manage the general organization settings within Zero Friction.

On this page you manage your organization's core data, such as identification data, address and contact information, branding, and number generation.

These settings are fundamental for billing, communication, reporting, and the representation of your organization in the platform. Correct configuration is therefore essential for Zero Friction to function properly.


Overview – What can you find in Preferences?

The page displays and manages:

  • Organization identification (VAT and company number)

  • Physical address of the organization

  • Contact details for communication

  • Branding (logo and corporate identity colors)

  • Customer and contract number generation preferences


Layout

General

This section contains the general identification information of the organization:

  • VAT number
    Required field. Used for invoices and tax reporting.

  • Organization number
    Required field for official identification.

  • Code
    Unique organization code (read-only).

  • Name
    Official organization name (read-only).


Address

Contains the organization's physical address. Available fields depend on the selected country:

  • Country

  • Street name

  • House number

  • House number addition

  • Postal code

  • Place

Country-specific extensions:

  • United Kingdom: Additional fields Building Name and Locality

Postcode input adapts to the selected country (e.g. NL, BE, FR, UK).


Contact details


Here you manage the organization's contact information:

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Website

  • Support information

  • Telephone interruptions (informational message)

These fields are optional, but are used in customer communications.


Logo & Colors

Visual identity settings:

  • Logo
    Upload a PNG, JPG or SVG file (maximum 15 MB).

  • Primary color
    Main color of the corporate identity (hex code).

  • Secondary color
    Supporting color for accents (hex code).


Manual numbering

Determines how numbers are assigned:

  • Set customer number manually

  • Set contract number manually

These settings determine whether numbers are automatically generated or must be entered manually when creating customers or contracts.
