Meter detail page - Status history

Updated over a week ago

Status History provides a complete overview of all status changes of a meter throughout its life cycle.

Here you can see when a meter was created, installed, removed, and possibly reinstalled. This section is important for transparency, historical accuracy, and audit purposes, for example, in case of questions about consumption, billing, or location changes.

Layout

Status

  • Displays the meter status during the period

  • Displayed as a colored badge

Possible statuses:

  • Requested

  • Installed

  • Deleted

Address

  • Shows the installation address when the meter was in Installed status

  • Clickable and opens the corresponding service location page

  • Empty if status is Requested or Deleted

Meter type

  • Displays the meter type that was in effect during this status period.

  • Informative and not editable

Period

  • Shows the date range in which the status was active

  • Consists of:

    • Start date (status entry date)

    • End Date (or Ongoing when the status is still active)

The rows are displayed chronologically, with the most recent status at the bottom.

Actions

The Status History section itself contains no editable actions.

Status changes occur only through other actions on the meter detail page, such as:

  • Install Meter – changes status to Installed

  • Uninstall Meter – changes status to Removed

Each action automatically results in a new status period in the status history.

Effective dates

Status changes can be:

  • Direct – with the current date

  • Backdated – for historical corrections

  • Future – for planned installations

The chosen start date determines the start of the new status period.

Multiple installations

A meter can be installed and removed multiple times. Each installation:

  • Creates a new Installed period

  • May have a different address or service location

Can a meter have multiple Installed periods?
Yes, for example when reinstalling at a different location.

What happens with a dated installation?
The status history is adjusted without overlapping periods.

How do I see who made a change?
Via the Activity tab on the meter details page.

Why is the end date set to “Ongoing”?
The status is currently active and has no end date yet.

Can I export the status history?
No, not separately. Only the current status is included in exports.
