About navigating the Meter Overview


In the Meter overview you can switch between the overview of 'Meters', 'Problems' and the overview of 'Import'.


Under Meters, you can also create a new meter by clicking "+ Add Meter." You can export measurements using a time period by clicking "Export All Measurements." You can also add a measurement reading by clicking "More."

In summary, this overview is intended to manage meters, problems and imports, quickly find data and keep an overview of meter information and status.

Meters


In the Meter Overview you have a search and filter bar.


This contains:

  • A search field to quickly find specific meters.

  • For Meters Only: Status-based filters, such as "All", "Installed", and "Inactive".

In short, it is a navigation and filter section that allows you to quickly and efficiently refine and manage Meters.


The Meter Overview shows all meters in a table view, including key information about:

  • Identity and type of the meter

  • Current status (e.g., requested, installed, or deleted)

  • Type (Individual, Aggregated, Common, External)

  • Recent data receipt and measurement period

  • Installation address (if applicable)

  • Active issues or errors


  • Displays the meter's serial number and model (make and name).

  • The serial number is clickable and opens the meter detail page.

An orange warning icon will appear when the meter has one or more issues.

  • Hovering shows the total number of issues.


Actions

  • Open meter – Click on the serial number

  • Install meter – Changes status to Installed

  • Remove Meter – Changes status to Removed

  • Reconfigure Meter – Adjusts channels and configuration

  • Add meter reading – Updates Last Update and Measurements Until

  • Add submeter

  • Export to Excel

Not all actions are available for every user or meter status.


Behaviors & Logic

Status determination

  • The system searches the status history for a status that is currently active

    • Start date ≤ now < end date

  • If no active status exists, the most recent status will be used

This supports meters with status changes over time.


Meter detail page

When you click on a meter from the meter overview, you'll be taken to the meter's details page. This page offers extensive information and options for managing the selected meter.

In this view you have the option to manually add meter readings via the + Add meter reading button, reconfigure via the Reconfigure button and under the More button, you have a dropdown list with:

  • Add submeter

  • Create a dampening rule

  • Export

  • To delete


Under the name of the Meter you will find the following tabs:


Detail

Under details you have different cards that each show you specific information about the Meter in question

  • Details

  • Registers

  • Status history

  • Rules for muting

  • Submeters

  • Activity

  • Comments

  • Custom properties
