Decide for yourself if you want to create automatic refunds

Thanks to a new toggle in the configuration, you can now determine whether you want to automatically create outgoing bank files when the customer has credit on their balance. This means Zero Friction will no longer automatically create a refund, and you can choose when you want to execute this yourself.

Help customers register more easily

We’ve added a new Customer Portal tab in the customer file. Here, you’ll find an overview of the registered email address used by the customer and an activity log showing which messages from the portal were sent.

This helps you identify where a customer might get stuck during registration — for example, if an email was never sent.

To access this overview:

  1. Go to the Customers section

  2. Open a customer’s file

  3. Click the Customer Portal tab

In this overview, you'll see:

  • The email address used for registration

  • The activity log

Want to reset the registration?

  1. Click More at the top

  2. Select Reset portal account

The option to send a confirmation email will be selected by default and prefilled with the customer’s email address.

The customer will receive an email with a link to register again.

➡️ You can change the email address or choose not to send the confirmation email by unchecking the box.

🚀 Set up a customer portal yourself

No need to contact the Customer Success team anymore — you can now set up a customer portal yourself via the Configuration.

To set it up:

  1. Go to Configuration

  2. Scroll to Customer Portal and click Portal URL

  3. Enter your custom portal URL

You’ll also find the required DNS records to link the domain to your servers.

⚠️ Your domain name must be registered before you can set up a customer portal.

This page also shows the status of the portal setup:

  • When it has been successfully configured

  • Or when something went wrong (e.g. the URL is already in use)
