Zero Friction is expanding the Consumption Cost Statement (CCO) with new insights that help you and your end customer better understand consumption and costs.
New features:
View actual and/or estimated consumption
Compare current consumption with previous periods
Switch effortlessly between costs (€) and units (kWh)
Benchmark consumption with similar users through consumption groups
The rollout is phased, giving you sufficient time to set up consumption groups and make decisions about what you want to show to customers.
🔍 New insights in CCO
1. New "Consumption" tab (now available)
Shows both actual and estimated consumption per contract. Estimated consumption is calculated based on historical usage or a configured consumption group.
2. Comparison with earlier periods (now available)
Compare up to three different periods side by side to quickly detect trends and fluctuations.
3. Switch between units and costs (now available)
Switch with one click between units (kWh, GJ...) and costs (€), split into fixed and variable components.
4. Benchmark with similar users (coming soon)
Compare a customer's consumption with that of other customers from similar consumption groups.
🧩 Consumption groups – the key to smart comparisons
Did you know that Zero Friction uses consumption groups as the basis for benchmarking.
You can choose between:
Standard groups with averages defined by us
Custom groups based on parameters such as floor area, housing type, orientation, or family size
➡️ Configure via: Configuration > Meters > Consumption groups
➡️ Assign via: Location groups or per contract. Later this summer, you'll also be able to modify consumption groups per contract.
📌 Tip: Start thinking now about how you want to logically group your customers.
🧑💻 For the Customer Portal
You choose whether to make the new graphs visible to your end customer:Configuration > Customer Portal > Preferences
Recommended to activate only with the full release at the end of summer
Customers will then see the same graph and see advance payment advice
