🚀 Overview of all communications sent

Add comments for a customer on invoices

From now on you can add comments to invoices.

Handy for taking certain things with you such as:

  • Tariff adjustments

  • Working in the area

  • Direct messages/information to customers

You can add these descriptions directly when creating an invoice, such as an incidental note or corrective invoice.

Go to Add Invoice and fill in the "Note for customer" field. This note will then appear only on this invoice.

You can also add a comment at the Location Group level. Everyone within that location group will then see the description on their invoice. The comment will appear on every invoice type for that location group.

This comment will only be overwritten when another description is created as described above on an incidental note or corrective invoice.

After adding, the comments will appear at the top of the invoice.

⚠️ Warning! When uploading invoices in Zero Friction, you have a "Description" column available. This corresponds to the "Note for customer" field. So be careful when filling in this field.

Add custom information to invoices

Want to permanently include additional company information or other details on invoices? You can now add custom information to the bottom of an invoice.

Go to ⚙️Configuration > Communication > Templates and click Edit. Under Settings, you can enable Show custom information and click Save. Now, under Translations, you can add your own text that will appear at the bottom of the selected invoice.

Overview of all communications sent

From now on, you can view all communications sent to a specific customer. This way, you'll never doubt what you've sent recently.

When you go to a customer's details page, you can click on the Communications tab. In this overview, Zero Friction shows you the following.

  • the subject

  • by email or by post

  • type of communication

  • who the recipient was (e.g. the email address)

  • the date of sending

  • any problems with shipping

Click on the subject to view the communication or check the line to download the communication.
