User profiles

Introduction

The Zero Friction application identifies different type of users.

User of the Zero Friction application are allocated a user roles. This determines what a user can do in the Zero Friction Application. The Authorisation levels apply throughout the Zero Friction application.

There is full Audit Trail to identify who has changed data with a time stamp.

Managing Users

If you are an Admin user (with the highest rights), you can:

  • Add new users at the Tenant level.

  • Set access rights and roles per user.

  • Manage access for multiple organizations and assign different roles per organization.

Types of profiles

The application uses three types of User Profiles

Audit Trail and Users

All Data Objects have Audit trails of changes to the object in the "Activity Feed" of their details screen.

Here is an example:

This allows for full insight in:

  • Who made the changes

  • What was the change

  • When did it happen

Adding a User

  1. Go to the Tenant level and click on the tab "Users".

  2. Click "Add User".

  3. Enter the details and choose the desired role(s).

Changing an Existing User's Role

  1. Select the user.

  2. Click "Choose a new role".

  3. Choose a new role and save the changes.

Managing Roles

In addition to assigning roles, you can also create and modify new roles yourself in the "Roles" tab.

Standard Roles

  • Admin

  • User

  • Read-only

Creating a Custom Role

This feature is not included in all packages. If you want to create new roles, contact [email protected] or use the chat.

You have two options:

  1. Create a completely new role

    • Click "Add Role".

    • Enter a name and determine visibility per entity.

    • Specify the desired permissions.

    • Click "Save" to save the role.

  2. Copy and modify an existing role

    • Select an existing role.

    • Click "Duplicate".

    • Adjust the permissions and name.

    • Click "Save" to save the changes.

Assigning a Role to Users

Once a custom role has been created, you can assign it to new or existing users via user management.

With these new features, you can easily and flexibly manage user permissions within your organization!
