Moving requests - Details

Updated over a week ago

The details page for a move request displays all the information and tasks related to a specific move request. Use this page to verify information, complete outstanding tasks, and ultimately process the move request.

You open the details page by clicking on a request in the Moving requests overview.

The details page is a crucial part of the moving process because this is where all checks take place before contracts, meters, and customer data are finally updated.

Overview

The details page of a moving request consists of three main sections:

  • an overview map with key information

  • an activity overview with tasks and status

  • a task card to view and edit data

What information is visible and what actions are available depends on:

  • the type of moving request, moving in or moving out

  • the status of the moving request

  • the user's rights

Layout

Detailed map (left panel)

The details card shows the key data of the moving request:

  • Type: moving in or moving out

  • Creation Date: Date the moving request was created

  • Key handover date (change date): effective date of the move, editable until the contract is confirmed

  • Location: address of the location, clickable

  • Owner: customer who owns the location, clickable

  • Customer Note: Optional message from the customer when creating requests on the customer portal

Contract information

  • Moving in

    • before processing: current contract

    • after processing: previous contract and new contract

  • Moving out

    • before processing: current contract

    • after processing: previous contract

The contract number, customer and contract period are shown for each contract.

Documents

  • Signed documents with date of acceptance

  • Viewed documents with date of inspection

  • Documents not shown

Document sections are only shown when documents are available.

Activities overview (center panel)

The activity overview shows the tasks required to process a move request:

  • Confirm customer

  • Confirm location

  • Confirm contract

  • Confirm measurement data

Each task has a status:

  • New: Task not yet completed

  • Completed: Task completed successfully

  • Error message: Task contains errors that must be resolved

Completed tasks appear as green notifications at the top. When all tasks are completed, a blue notification appears indicating the move request is complete.

The Process button is located at the top of this panel and is disabled when:

  • there are unsaved changes

  • the moving request has already been processed

Task card (right panel)

The task card shows the form of the selected task:

  • no task selected: blank status display

  • Confirm customer: View and edit customer information if necessary. For existing customers, you can select and save a previously registered customer number.

  • Confirm Location: View location information and adjust it if necessary.

  • Confirm contract: Review the contract details and adjust them if necessary.

    • A product is automatically suggested when it is defined at the location group or location level. A consumption group is also suggested in the same way.

    • The billing settings are inherited from the location group, if they are set there.

      • For all these components, you can still make adjustments and deviate from the default settings.

  • Confirm meter readings: View and adjust meter readings and measurements. If the register settings are set to data frequency: hourly or daily, the customer cannot enter meter readings. They will receive the message "meter is being read automatically."

Each task contains Save and Cancel. Until a form is saved, the Process button is automatically disabled.

Actions

On the details page, depending on your status and rights, you can perform the following actions:

  • Adjust moving date

  • Complete tasks

  • Process moving request

  • Reject moving request

  • Change status to new or waiting

  • Delete moving request as long as it has not been processed or rejected

Actions not allowed by status or permissions will be hidden or disabled.

Editing the moving date

The moving date is editable until:

  • the task Confirm contract has been completed

  • whether the moving request has the status Processed or Rejected

After each change the date must be explicitly saved.

Processing a moving request

A moving request can be processed when:

  • all tasks have the status Processed

  • there are no error messages

  • there are no unsaved changes

When processing, the system validates all data. If successful, the status changes to processed. If an error occurs, the error messages remain visible for each task, and the status remains unchanged.

Problem

Solution

Process button is gray

Save changes or fix errors

Form is read-only

No documents visible

There are no documents linked to location group, product

Why can't I change the moving date?
Because the contract has already been confirmed, or the moving request has been processed or rejected.

Why is the Process button disabled?
Because there are error messages, unsaved changes exist, or the status does not allow it.

How do I see if all tasks have been completed?
All tasks show the status Processed and a blue confirmation message appears.

Can I process a move request with error messages?
No, all tasks must be completed without errors.

What happens to documents after processing?
Documents remain visible and can still be downloaded.
