🚀 Add custom roles


From now on as an Admin, you can easily manage users and roles at the Tenant level. From the Tenant-level you will have an overview that shows which users have what access and to which organizations they belong. You can add and edit users and even add new roles for users.

Managing users

If you are an Admin user (with the highest rights), you can:

  • Add new users at the Tenant level.

  • Set access rights and roles per user.

  • Manage access for multiple organizations and assign different roles per organization.

Available roles

There are three types of user profiles:

User Profile

Can Configure Application (Tenant)

Can Use Application

Adding a user

  1. Go to the Tenant level and click "Go to User Management".

  2. Click "Add User".

  3. Enter the details and choose the desired role(s).

Changing an Existing User's Role

  1. Select the user.

  2. Click "Edit Role".

  3. Choose a new role and save the changes.


Add custom roles

⬆Important! This is an upgrade feature that is not by default in your plan. Contact [email protected] to activate this.

In addition to assigning roles, you can also create and modify new roles as an Admin in the "Roles" tab. In order to do so, you will need to upgrade your Zero Friction plan.

Standard Roles

  • Admin

  • User

  • Read-only

Creating a Custom Role

You have two options:

  1. Create a completely new role

    • Click "Add Role".

    • Enter a name and determine visibility per entity.

    • Specify the desired permissions.

    • Click "Add" to save the role.

  2. Copy and modify an existing role

    • Select an existing role.

    • Click "Duplicate Role".

    • Adjust the permissions and name.

    • Click "Add" to save the changes.

Assigning a role to users

Once a custom role has been created, you can assign it to new or existing users via user management.

With these new features, you can easily and flexibly manage user permissions within your organization!
