Custom Properties provides additional fields that allow you to expand customer information. Use these fields to store organization-specific data, such as customer segments, account managers, VIP status, or internal classifications.
The Custom Properties card shows a grid of all available custom fields for the customer.
Each property consists of:
Name: The property's label name (e.g., Customer Segment or Account Manager)
Period: optional validity period with start and end dates
Value: The current data stored for this customer
If there is no data yet, you will see the message “No custom properties added yet.”
Examples of use
Custom properties can be used for, among other things:
Customer segment: Premium, Standard, Enterprise
Account Manager: Name of the responsible employee
VIP Status: Yes/No designation for special customers
Priority: classification based on internal ranking
Contract type: drop-down list with internal categories
Special notes: Free text fields for exceptional situations
Operation
Each property has a value that is valid within a time period.
This allows you to change values over time without losing history.
Time-slicing values
You can specify different values with associated periods:
Value | Start date | End date |
01-01-2024 | 01-07-2024 | |
Post | 01-07-2024 | — |
The system automatically shows the active value based on the current date.
Historical values are preserved and visible in the timeline view.
